Was that a miracle or a supernatural power? Whim of the same reminded me of “Out Of Body Experiences” which has a similar kind of story. Does anyone actually possess those powers? The answers to these questions were hinted sometime back in my childhood when I came to know about kundalini powers.
Many of us will be surprised by the fact that we possess 7 more sensory organs(chakras) which are dormant (in kundalini state). If we are able to awake them (kundalini jagriti), we can also experience many of the so called “Out of world Experiences”.
This no theory or thought process i am talking about, this is now mathematically and scientifically proven. It was thought that the kundalini energy is used during an orgasm, but it suddenly retards to normal after the orgasm. A Scientist named Itzhak Bentov has researched the same and proved it by Brain-mapping the alpha brain wave frequencies.
Now the question is: Even if this energy persists inside human body, how does it affects human brain to sense/experience supernatural things? The answer to the question is something to do with each chakras and its signal. Each chakra sends a particular type of signal to brain which activates different part/section of the brain.
Actually sitting immobile in meditation, the pumping heart creates micro-motions in the upper body. This stimulates an electrical loop circuit in the sensory Cortex oscillating at 7 Hz (the Theta frequency). This current creates the physical symptoms experienced in Kundalini Awakening. It also stimulates the Amygdala (unconscious memory reservoir) which is very sensitive to kindling. From here it spreads to Hippocampus, the occipital lobes and finally to the frontal lobes awakening the whole brain.
